Been suffering through the dead of summer (and freeze of winter) with no AC of any kind for the past 3 years (including this one) because the house is an OLD one and getting the built in AC fixed costs a fortune. Gotta close up every window and door in the house during the day and open everything again at night just to try and preserve some amount of "liveability".

I sleep upstairs so I always wake up drenched in sweat since heat rises and I sleep during the day.

Don't even get me started on the 118 degrees days we had a few years back, THOSE were fun.

Anywho, I'm with ya, here's hoping you get your AC fixed soon. *Fingers crossed*

I also feel sorry for both you and for mine really has no heater and I'm cold during the winter and have to deal with a swamp cooler in the summer, dry heat isn't so bad but when seasonal rains known as monsoons rolls around it does diddly jack squat. (Also I live in a dessert).

Oof! Rough, yeah, dry heat is bad, but HUMID heat is worse, uhhg, you can never get that dry feeling you crave, the constant "stickyness" and the continual beading of sweat all over your body gets old really really fast! You have my sympathy.

On the plus side though, I've always loved the desert, so I gotta say it's pretty cool (pun not intended) that you live in one! Do you live in a spot where you get that gorgeous view for miles or are you kinda walled in by terrain?

I see view but there has been so much development in 30 some years that I see what I can with piles of homes and city now.

Aww, I'm sorry to hear that, besides taking away from the beauty of open desert, that extra concrete probably only serves to make the heat more unbearable and block any breezes or winds that might flow in and cool the area down or bring some relief.

Well, hopefully you at least have a nice open starry sky to enjoy on the warm desert nights, and that the edge of the housing isn't so far from your location as to keep you from enjoying short sojourns into the desert during hot nights if you are so inclined.

Actually now we have too much wind and breezes and the development is not all that bad since I'm all city guy anyways

physical therapy pool. they're not often attended by a lifeguard. it is inside a hospital. that's what the individual attendants/trainers are for. to supervise THEIR patients not the whole pool.

Compared to most others, I enjoy reading this anime the most.
